I love photography, and I love exercise, so what’s better than walking twenty minutes by the beach before a photoshoot? Walking twenty-five? lol, I really do love it!

No seaweed and the mesmerizing blue hues of the water in this area are unparalleled, making it a dream backdrop for any photographer. Even on a windy day like that day, the view can’t be better. The bright Caribbean sun though, made wearing sunglasses a necessity for 99% of the photos.

This time, I had the pleasure of meeting Tony and his family – his wife and three children – at the beach of the Royal Sands resort in Cancun, Mexico. Tony was incredibly friendly from our initial online conversations leading up to the photo session in Cancun, and even more so in person.

The saying 'the more, the merrier' definitely applies to photoshoots on the beach. The children were relaxed and cooperative throughout the shoot. Although we did capture some traditional standing portraits, which were less exciting for the children, we focused more on action pictures – lots of playing, jumping, running, walking, swinging, and bouncing.

It was a joyous experience, and I will always be grateful to Tony and his family for allowing me to capture these beautiful moments.
