I had the pleasure of working with DeJean for her Sweet-Sixteen photoshoot and some family portraits. We decided to shoot at the beach of the Hyatt Ziva resort in Cancun, which provided a gorgeous backdrop for our session.
We met at 8 am on a sunny morning with no clouds or wind, making for perfect photography conditions. From the moment I met DeJean, I was struck by her stunning appearance and positive attitude. Her hair, nails, and dress were absolutely stunning! She looked radiant with a glow that was simply amazing.
The location did not disappoint either. The calm and crystal-clear water was the perfect background, and the beach at the Hyatt Ziva was free of sargazo or seaweed. There were also some beautiful wooden docks and lovely vegetation, which added to the overall aesthetic of the shoot.
We took a variety of pictures during the session, including shots of DeJean on the docks, on the lifeguard tower, lying on the sand, and playing in the water, which was a fun and playful moment. We also captured some exciting family portraits during the shoot, including shots of DeJean with her mom, brother, and the rest of her family.
I'm very happy with the final images. Working with DeJean was great, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to capture these special photos for her and her family.
