Not long ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Evelyn and her family for a photoshoot in Tulum, Mexico. The family, consisting of Evelyn, her husband Roberto, and their one-year-old son Rodrigo, were staying in the downtown area of Tulum about two miles from the turquoise water and eco-chic hotel zone.
Our meeting point was Playa Paraiso, one of the few public beach accesses in Tulum. While it can get crowded at times, this gorgeous beach was the perfect setting for a family photoshoot. To get there, Evelyn's sister-in-law, who was more familiar with the area, kindly drove the family.
From the moment we met, I could tell that the family shared a strong bond and were genuinely excited for the photoshoot. Rodrigo, with his bright smile, and Roberto, who was polite and attentive, both contributed to the positive atmosphere. As for the beach that day, I'd rate it a 7 out of 10. Although there were a few people in the background and some sargazo or seaweed on the sand, it didn't detract from the overall beauty of the location.
The weather was perfect for a photoshoot – sunny with a gentle breeze, but not too windy. We met around 5 pm, which was an ideal time for the little ones who aren't early risers. The soft light before sunset and the comfortable temperature made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Young Rodrigo was the star of the show, doing exceptionally well throughout the photoshoot. He played, looked at the camera, smiled, and even laughed! Naturally, there were a few moments where he needed his mother's attention, but that's to be expected with a one-year-old. I was genuinely impressed by how well he did, considering his age.
In conclusion, the photoshoot with Evelyn and her family was a memorable experience. The warmth and love shared between them, combined with the amazing backdrop of Tulum's Playa Paraiso, made for a great day and a collection of beautiful captured memories.
